2013-14 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field All-American ... took fifth in the 800 meter run (2:10.67) at the 2014 NCAA Division II Championships.

2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field All-American ... took third in the 800 meter run (2:08.64) at the 2014 NCAA Division II Championships.


Also a member of the Ursuline College cross country team.

Nicole was named the College’s 2012-13 ‘Newcomer of the Year' and the school's 'Athlete of the Year' in 2013-14.

2013 Outdoor Season: Set the school record with a 4:54.72 in the 1,500 meter run at Coastal Carolina’s Shamrock Invitational (March 16), a time that was good for 28th in the field of 92…also ran second (26.50 split) on the school record-setting 4x200 relay team (1:44.94) at that same meet…won the 800 at the Allegheny Invitational with a time of 2:13.11 (second best in school history) while the next closest competitor finished in 2:16.96…at the Allegheny Invitational, also took sixth in the 200 (26.04)…first to finish in the 800 (2.15.65) at the John Carroll Twilight Meet (April 19) while the second place finisher came in at 2:21.89…won the 400 at Oberlin’s Bob Kahn Invitational (April 6) with a time of 58.69, third all-time by an Arrow…ran the fourth best 200 (26.04) in program history at the Ashland Alumni Open (April 27)…started the 4x400 relay at the Ashland Alumni Open (April 27) where the Arrows ran a season-best 3:58.94 thanks to her 57.20 split…also led the top 4x800 relay quartet of the season (10:14.63 at Coastal Carolina’s Shamrock Invitational) with a 2:18.80 split…ran second on the 4x100 relay team that finished in 49.49 at that same meet.

2012-13 Indoor Season: Set seven individual school records in her first indoor season…also was a member of the record-setting distance medley relay team that ran a 13:09.68 at the SPIRE North Coast Indoor Open (Jan. 19)…broke the school record in the 200 with a 25.89 at the final meet of the year, the Kent State Tune-Up (Feb. 16)…also set the 300 (41.56), 500 (1:17.00) and 800 (2:14.06) school records at the Kent State facility…broke the Ursuline record in the 400 with a 57.52 at the SPIRE Institute’s North Coast Indoor Open (Jan. 19)…in a dual meet against Lake Erie College (Feb. 26), she set a new school record in the 600 with a time of 1:34.00…in her first collegiate meet (YSU Penguin Icebreaker – Dec. 1), she established a new top mark in the mile with a time of 5:29.75…won the 800 (field of 52 student-athletes) at the KSU Tune-Up to become the program’s first event champion at that particular meet…ran the third quickest 4x200 split on the team with a 26.8 at Oberlin’s Dan Kinsey Invitational (Jan. 11)…turned in the top 4x400 split with a 58.4 on Dec. 15 at the SPIRE Collegiate Meet, the fourth best mark in program history…ran second on the 4x400 relay team that ran the best time of the season, a 4:07.20 at the Kent State Tune-Up.

Carmel RC: Was second in the UK at the National Biathlon Finals in 2008…took third nationally from 2009-2012…made nationals in the heptathlon and track (400 and 800 meters)…was selected to represent Great Britain in the World Catholic Games (2009-10)…placed as high as 15th in the United Kingdom in the heptathlon….broke school records in long jump, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1,500 meters and the 4 x 100…named school’s ‘Athlete of the Year’ in 2009 and ‘Biathlete of the Year’ in 2011.

Personal: Born November 14, 1993 in Darlington, Great Britain…daughter of Liam Denny and Amelda Cran…has three siblings…intends to major in sports management…maintained a straight A average at Carmel RC, a Roman Catholic secondary school in Darlington.
