INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior Betsy Edwards and junior Alex Leister were each named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis First Team, the conference office announced Thursday (May 9) afternoon.

They were joined by Cedarville’s Maryssa Herbert, Courtney Heydt, Lilian Schuler and Melissa Stoltzfus.

Edwards went 3-7 at first singles while Leister led the team with a 5-5 record. She went 1-1 at second singles, 2-4 in the third slot and 2-0 at fourth singles.

Both student-athletes were 2-2 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference matches.
